Chevy Chase Land Company to Present Chevy Chase Lake Concept on April 27th

The Chevy Chase Land Company has announced that on the evening of April 27th, the company will present its vision and conceptual development ideas for redevelopment of Chevy Chase Lake around the planned Purple Line transit station.  Meeting details are below. 

The Land Company will also attend Rollingwood’s annual meeting on May 16th for a similar dialogue with Rollingwood residents. Details to follow in the mail shortly.

  1. I’m quite concerned about the development of this area not providing sufficient parking for the shops for people not living within walking distance. I shop frequently at the Chevy Chase Supermarket, Starbucks, the dry cleaner, the building supply shop & others. If you provide parking for ONLY those living in the VERY HIGH high rise apartments, this area will resemble DC. I’m also concerned about the height of the buildings to be built.
