IMPORTANT COMMUNITY MEETING WITH PEPCO ON JUNE 8TH
UPDATE: PEPCO ENGINEER ALSO SPEAKING
On Wednesday, June 8th, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., all Rollingwood residents will have a special opportunity to hear from and ask questions of Jack Chu, a Pepco Supervising Engineer in Montgomery County and George S. Scola, Pepco’s Supervisor of Finance The meeting will be held at the French International School, 3200 Woodbine Street. At the request of the Rollingwood Citizens Association — organizer of the meeting — Mr. Chu and Mr. Scola will present information about:
Rollingwood’s electrical infrastructure servicing and replacement history; The specific causes of Rollingwood’s electrical outages with a comparison to those experienced by neighboring communities; Pepco’s plans to improve Rollingwood’s electric power reliability; and, Pepco’s plans to improve delivery of timely information and restoration of services during power outages.

A number of legislators have indicated they will attend this meeting, including Maryland General Assembly District 18 Senator Richard Madaleno, Delegate Jeffrey Waldstreicher, and Delegate Alfred Carr.
