County Council Meeting on the Purple Line and Capital Crescent Trail
This Thursday, a County Council committee will hold an important work session on the future of the Capital Crescent Trail through the Wisconsin Avenue tunnel. Although keeping the trail in the tunnel has been a long-held commitment, recent cost estimates now jeopardize the trail’s future in the tunnel. See hearing details below.
On Thursday, March 1, the transportation and environment committee of the county council will hold a work session to review the Maryland Transportation Administration’s report that evaluates options for the Purple Line vis-à-vis the Capital Crescent Trail. Open to the public.
