Update on BRAC Projects – Jones Bridge Road Construction

Beginning today, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is scheduled to close Elmhurst Drive (in the Locust Hill neighborhood) each day for the next two weeks, 8 am-7 pm, to replace a water line. WSSC will notify customers should any disruption in service occur. The work is part of the State Highway Administration’s (SHA) intersection improvement project on Rockville Pike at Cedar Lane.

Also, construction has begun at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue at Jones Bridge Road.

If you have any concerns or questions about the intersection projects on Rockville Pike or Connecticut Avenue, you can contact SHA directly. SHA has a local construction office at 8214 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 103, Bethesda. The telephone number is 301-907.-7408.
