Pre-School Storytime, Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. September 3, 10, 17, and *24 (bilingual).
*Family Fun Day, Saturday September 21–

10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Face Painting; Wind Tubes with the Futuremakers (for kids of all ages);

10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Arts and Crafts in the Children’s Room;

11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Master Gardeners will answer any gardening questions and help kids plant seeds;

12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Teen Book Club —The Uglies by Scott Westerfeld;

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. “Invasion of the Robots from Earth” – program by Dr. Tim Livengood, planetary scientist, storyteller.  Help him make a robot.

For Adults

         *September 7, Saturday at 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.  Foreign Film–“Z”.  The leader of a Greek opposition party is struck down by a truck and the witnesses mysteriously disappear–was it an accident?

         *September 11, Wednesday at  2:30 p.m. Non-fiction Book Group–Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation by Joseph Ellis.

         *September 20,Friday, at 10:30 a.m.  Jefferson Cafe–“Capitalism and Inequality–What the Right and the Left Get Wrong,” by Jerry Z. Muller in “Foreign Affairs” March/April 2013 (article available at the information desk).

        *September 25,Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.  Fiction Book Group–Growing Up by Russell Baker.
