On Saturday, 03/01/14 at 13:00 Foreign Film Series: The Mystery of Picasso. Explores the mind and motivations of Pablo Picasso as he creates over fifteen works before the camera. On Friday, 03/21/14 at 10:30 Jefferson Café Discussion: This month’s article is “Whither Cultural Critics?”, ‘Pacific Standard”-July 11, 2013 by Adam Waytz. The group is limited to 15 participants so that everyone can see and hear everyone else while sitting around a table. We strive for full participation, asking those who are comfortable speaking in public to be sensitive to the fact that others are more cautious about expressing themselves. Copies of the articles to be discussed are available at the Info Desk without charge. Funding for reproducing the articles is provided by the Friends of the Library, Chevy Chase Chapter
