On Saturday, 01/03/14 at 14:00 Foreign Film Series: The film to be shown is Persepolis.  A 2007 French film, in French, English, Farsi and German, it is a poignant coming-of-age story of a precocious and outspoken young Iranian girl.

Join us for an intellectually stimulating exploration of some of the greatest fiction and non-fiction works published through the ages. Registration is not required. Attendees are responsible for obtaining the material to read in advance of the discussion.

Haass and “Does It Help to Know History?” by Adam Gopnik.  Copies of the articles are available free of charge at the Library’s Information Desk.
