Neighborhood Watch Program

Rollingwood is consistently one of the safest neighborhoods anywhere in the metropolitan area, but no community is immune from criminal activity.  To help further enhance public safety, RCA maintains a neighborhood watch program.  The backbone of neighborhood watch is a network of block captains that alerts residents and police to criminal activity.  The program also povides information on crime prevention and has formed a working partnership with Montgomery County Police.  Through information collection, crime prevention tips, and collaboration with local law enforcement, neighborhood watch endeavors to make our community even more secure.  In that regard, the Montgomery County Police would like to remind all of us of measures to combat residential burglaries and thefts.  If you see something suspicious, call the police non-emergency number – 301-279-8000.  In the case of an emergency, call 911.

We are always looking for additional block captains.  If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about neighborhood watch, please contact our program coordinator by using the form below.  Thank you!
